The 8th day began at 10 am with Mr.Gopal Prasad Bashyal sir.
The first session was about presenting te ideas creatively, ie. creativity. The participants were divided into five groups and were asked to present their seven days' learning as creatively as possible. finally, the groups submitted the tasks, some groups were found to be the most creative ones.
The second session wasabout professional development of a teacher. We also had a discussion on the CPD Wheel by British Council.
Aftet the khaja break, it was Genre Based Learning. Different genres to be taught in grade nine and ten were duscussed.
It was another wonderful day with Gopal sir.

The Seventh Day: Reflection
2086-07-27
The seventh day of my TPD Training started at 110:30 am as usual.
Today, we discussed about PBL. Our instructor, Mr. Gopal Prasad Basyal hd a video show at the very beginning. Then he had us discuss about the process of PBL classroom, its benefits and the challenges, in group.
After khaja break, Gopal sir presented about developing core skills (6 core skills as suggested by British Council).
We spent much time on PBL.
After all it was another fruitful day for me.

What I learned.
When I saw the man for the first time, I thought that he was one of the participants. When he introduced himself, "Is he able to run the training sessions?" was the question that was in my mind.
But when he took several sessions for SIX days, my mind had been fully occupied by "Don't judge a book by its cover".😀😀
It was the man, Mr.Homraj Khadka, a trainer, an instructor at Education Training Centre (ETC), Nepalgunj who had come to Palpa as a visitor trainer in ten day's TPD training for secondary level teachers of English.
What I learned from his classes:
1. use of ICT in ELT
2. Online learning
3. virtual class
4. creating online quize
5. using mobile apps; google classroom, google go, english speaking test, english listening practice etc.
6. several websites related to ELT
The next important thing that I am affected by is his positive attitude, punctuality, devotion to the profession and the belief that I must do something...

The Sixth Day: Reflection

The sixth day began at 10:30 am.
First, Mr.Homraj sir talked a lot about:
.web based learning
.creating a virtual class.
Then we diacussed about various terminology related to web based learning.
After that the trainees were divided into four groups and assigned tasks.
my group had prepared about MOOCs, its courses, duration of corses etc.
Then we prepared some questions related to the text and created an online test on www.docs.google.com.
and shared the links to other participants through google classroo.
Finally, Hom sir told us about google drive, uploading the files on google drive, downloading them and sharing them
Hom sir told us that it was his last session on this training program. All the participants were a bit emotional that Hom sir was leaving them.
Anyway, we had a great time with Homraj sir for six days.

The Fith Day: Reflection

The fifth day of our TPD training started at 10:30 am.
In the first session, Mr. Homraj Khadka, the instructor, had all the participants divided in six groups and prepare a power point presentation. the groups prepared the files about some famous places in Palpa, my group was assigned to prepare about the Rishikesh temple.
After khaja, Hom sir made us make a video in www.zoom.com. all the participants were very much excited.Than a member from each group recorded the video. we also suggested Hom sir to upload thoae videos to youtube.
It was a great day wi Hom sir.

The fourth day of my TPD began sharply at 10:30 am. The first session was about TESOL course offered by Arizon State University (ASU).
The second thing was about different web sites that help our e learning process. Mr. Homraj sir presented about more than 25 different web sites.
After KHAJA break, we had a mini video conference with Mr.Bibash Thapa from Hetauda who had recently completed TESOL.
In The final session, we had a quiz on Socrative.com. finally we created our own quiz on www.socrative.com. one of our fellows had us play the quiz game.
Thus, it was an exciting day with Hom sir.

The third day of ten day's TPD training was wonderful with Mr. Gopal Prasad Basyal. At the very beginning, Gopal sir had us define some termonogies related to the classroom envoronment.
The second and the most important thing he suggested us was "The things to be considered during lesson planning".
ICQs and CCQs are two things I learnt something new abd interesting.
Afterall it was a wonderful session.

The Second Day:Reflection

The second day of 10 day's TPD Training began at 10:30 am. Mr.Homraj Khadka sir began the session with some revision from the previous day.
Homraj sir had us play a quiz-like-game from www.quizizz.com. The participants were very much excited. later on he helped us with designing the quiz on quizizz.com. I myself and my partner Mr. Prakash Bhattarai from gulmi designed a grammar quiz and had other trainee friends play the quiz. I am greatful to Hom sir for assigning me the task. Hom sir told us about nearpod.com and displayed a powerpoint presentation about different types of instructional materials.
After the KHAJA break, Mr.Tulsi Ram Dangi sir had a presentation about blogging. He explainef what blogging is, who the bloggers are, why blogging is necessary in ELT etc. Then he finally suggested the way we can creat a blog. I have created a blog for myself and started posting a blog. This the fruit of the training, isn't it?

All 26 participants of 1day's TPD training in ETC Palpa have learned how to create blog. The training session had been facilitated by Mr. Tulsiram Dangi and Mr. Homraj Khadka. The participants were found to be excited to create their own personal blogs.
